As a company that is committed to innovation and sustainability, LOCOAL® is constantly looking for ways to grow and connect with like-minded individuals, organizations and investors. One way that we have been able to do this is through our membership in the Capital Factory Network, a community of entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors who are dedicated to supporting startups and promoting innovation.
During their pitch competitions in the UT-MsTC Program, Petey and Miles won their first access to Capital Factory with a 6 month membership. Once they won a few more awards, they were asked to join the portfolio.
Being a member of the Capital Factory Portfolio Network has brought numerous benefits to our company. Firstly, it has provided us with access to a network of experienced mentors and advisors who have helped us navigate the challenges of starting and growing LOCOAL® out of a garage. These mentors have provided valuable insights into everything from fundraising and marketing to product development and customer acquisition. This support has been invaluable, especially as we work to establish ourselves as leaders in the biomass conversion industry.
The Capital Factory Network has given us access to great resources and tools that have helped us on our journey. This includes access to incredible co-working spaces, mentorship programs, and educational resources. Additionally, the network has provided us with opportunities to connect with investors and other entrepreneurs, such as the Queen of the Netherlands, which has helped us raise funds and build strategic partnerships.
Another benefit of being a member of the Capital Factory Network is the sense of community that it provides. As a startup, it can be challenging to navigate the competitive and often isolating world of entrepreneurship. However, being part of a community of like-minded individuals and organizations has helped us feel more connected and supported. We have been able to share our experiences, learn from others, and build relationships that have helped us grow our business.
Capital Factory works closely with the Army Futures Lab, Air Force Innovations Lab, City of Austin and the State of Texas to drive innovation and impact. LOCOAL® is excited to continue the networking with Air Force and government agencies to provide sustainable solutions.
Our membership in the Capital Factory Network has been an invaluable asset to our company. It has provided us with access to a network of mentors, resources, and tools that have helped us scale our business and establish ourselves as leaders in our industry. Moreover, it has given us a sense of community and connection that has made our journey as entrepreneurs more rewarding and fulfilling. We are grateful for the support of the Capital Factory Network and look forward to continuing to grow and thrive as part of this community.
